Shop Smart, Look Luxe
While I am all for investing in yourself and staple pieces, I also enjoy shopping for affordable items and mixing them together. What do I look for when shopping smartly? First, I look for the price of the item, obviously, but also does it look and feel luxe? Yes – you heard me – an item can still look expensive while not actually being expensive. You just have to be smart about it. These are my top five items under $100 that look expensive right now.
Item #1•Linen Jumpsuit
I am obsessed with this jumpsuit from H&M right now. It is so chic and I will seriously live in this all Summer. I love the color, the fabric, the belt – it is SO cute and costs $50.
Item #2•Fitted Camisole
This camisole tank is amazing and such a staple for every season and occasion. It actually reminds me a lot of this one I have from ALC and I wear it all of the time.
Item #3•Satin Trench
If you’ve followed me for a while then you know I love a good duster or trench. This Something Navy trench is so chic.
Item #4•Slim Suiting Pants
Not only is this the perfect pant for work that doesn’t break your bank but it is perfect for so many occasions! With women’s suiting so huge these days, it is nice to have staple pieces like this in your wardrobe but often times they are either so expensive or they look cheap. I love how chic this one is and is $89.
Item #5•Straw Boater Hat
With warmer weather here, straw hats will be your best friend on your pool days or next beach vacation. I love this one which is 1/3 of the price of this look-a-like hat… don’t get me wrong though, if you’re going to invest in a hat, let it be Janessa Leone because her hats are amazing!
