I think we can all relate to this subject on so many levels. For one, we’ve all had bumps on our face at some point and, secondly, we all want to say goodbye to them immediately when they arrive. A few weeks ago I had an allergic reaction to something I ate and broke out in a rash all over my cheeks and the top of my forehead.
Obviously, this needed to be fixed immediately, so I did what I often do and turned to you guys on Instagram and asked for quick solutions. This is what you recommended I try and also this is what I found worked.
Summer Fridays•Overtime Mask
Ok, so no one suggested this product to me but my sister and I had a girls night the other week and we decided to do masks. I tried this Overtime Mask figuring I had nothing to lose if my face broke out since I already had a rash everywhere. I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed that I woke up the next day with clear(er) skin. Since then, I have used it 1-2x a week and I notice such a difference in my skin. I can not boast about this product more.
Calamine is a super calming lotion used to treat various conditions: most commonly known for treating insect bites or stings, eczema, sunburn, poison ivy, and other minor skin conditions. I didn’t try this on this specific rash but I have in the past and know it works well.
Colloidal silver is really calming to your skin and helps treat pimples, rashes and really any irritation. I swear by this product and use it after waxing my eyebrows, on my skin after I wash it and just whenever.
I actually did a full blog post a little while back on the benefits of Egyptian Magic Cream. I talk about what it is, what it is used for and what the benefits of it are. Click here to read a detailed description about it.
This one sounded super weird to me but I was told to drink apple cider vinegar and use it topically. As weirded out as I was, I was intrigued and had to read more about it. This is what I found: Apple cider vinegar also contains antibacterial, anti-fungal, and anti-viral substances that help prevent skin infections. It opens our skin pores, making the treatment more effective when treating acne and pimples. Furthermore, it helps regulate our pH levels, that keep our skin from being too oily or too dry. Can you believe it?!
